APPLICATION
AVAILABLE DOGS
AFTER YOU ADOPT
Picture
Most of our dogs are kept in foster homes. Our volunteers do their best to observe their temperaments and habits to inform the future owners about what they have observed while the dog has been in their care. Please be aware that even if a dog has been living in a foster home, it is not a guarantee that the dog will not present other behaviors that were unknown to the foster family.

Once an application has been submitted, it will be reviewed for the dog you applied for, and we will contact you with the status of your application within 48 hours. If the dog is still available and would make a good fit for your home, we will ask you to schedule an appointment to meet the dog and complete the paperwork for adoption. Sometimes our emails end up in your spam/junk folder, so please keep an eye on that. If you have not heard from us after 48 hours, you may email [email protected] to have someone follow up.

Once you have adopted your new best friend, we ask that you visit our post-adoption page to learn about all the resources available after you adopt.

Puppy Policy

If you are interested in a puppy (under four months old), we have a policy to hold our puppies for at least 10 days prior to adoption, during which we are clearing them from any life-threatening illnesses and getting them spayed/neutered and up to date with shots, etc. Since our puppies come from animal control facilities, it is not unusual for them to contract a serious (or even fatal) illness, and we don’t want your family to meet and begin to bond with a puppy only to have it possibly pass away from illness or surgery. We will set their adoption appointments as soon as possible once they are past the hold period. Thank you for understanding!
