Community Outreach
In addition to the services we provide for dogs, we also speak to groups (upon request) to help educate the community about various topics and/or to expose the community to how great rescue dogs can be. We've gone everywhere from schools to nursing homes. To learn more about these presentations, and to sign up to have us speak to your group, please see the Educational Opportunities page.
Here are some of the groups we've visited recently:
Thank you Lindsay Emery for talking to the kids at Morse Elementary in Troy during their reading night about animal rescue and bite prevention! Education is key and the kids loved it

CCRC believes strongly in education being key! Thank you Ms. Gayle and Ms. Rachel from Paint Creek elementary school for allowing us to come give a short presentation on dogbite prevention and safety

BIG thank you Connie and Georgette for doing a presentation during SOCKS Day at Independence Elementary. The kids learned about dog safety/bite prevention... and did a service project for us which included a large donation of homemade blankets and toys!!!
